Beechdale Community Housing

Beechdale Community Housing joined forces with Friendship in April 2011, following an extensive selection process.  The management team, board and residents from Beechdale agreed that whilst they could retain their local identity and continue to provide services locally being part of Friendship and a bigger group (Longhurst Group) would benefit the whole community by delivering a better future.

Beechdale is a large estate in Walsall with more than 1200 homes lying close to the M6 motorway.  The close-knit community spirit is evident when you arrive on the estate. It is a place where many people have been born, gone to school, grown up and still live and where residents enjoy taking part in the many local activities and celebration events.

The former BCHA (Beechdale Community Housing Association) was formed in 1996 as a partial stock transfer from Walsall Metropolitan Borough Council.
