Violent Behaviour & Domestic Abuse

The terms of your tenancy agreement with Friendship Care and Housing prohibit any violence towards any person, including people living together in one of our properties.

If you are living as partners (whether married or not) you and your partner must not act in any violent way or threaten violence, either to each other or other member of the household.

We will take action against those who commit domestic abuse and work with the police and other agencies to prevent incidents reoccurring. This could mean that we ask the court for possession of the property, or obtain an injunction preventing the perpetrator from visiting the property, or the locality of the property when they have been violent towards someone in the property.
