Friendship join Home Care Framework

Friendship has been successful in its bid to be included in a framework of registered providers to deliver Home Care Services across Coventry and Warwickshire.

Bernadette Mansell, Senior Care Business Manager at Friendship said “The Home Care service is predominantly a new business for us which, is great news. The new service fits alongside our existing supported living programme which is designed to help people with learning disabilities and will fit within this framework.”

“We know from experience, that we can make a positive difference to peoples’ lives.  Our team of trained support workers help service users to shape, achieve and maintain their personal independence and it’s always rewarding when we see people starting to make their own life choices.”

The Home Care Service contract will run for two years (with an option to extend for a further two years). The service works with people who have been assessed and identified as having critical and substantial needs and covers client groups including:

  • Older People
  • Adults with physical disabilities
  • Adults with learning disabilities
  • Adults with mental health illness
  • Carers

The service provision will include services such as:

  • Domiciliary Care
  • Continuing Health Care
  • Telecare response
  • Carers break services
  • Waking and Sleep in night cover
