Housing Benefit

Some tenants may be entitled to claim Housing Benefit, which is intended to cover all or part of the rent payments that you make for the home that you live in. The amount you are entitled to is dependant on any income you receive, savings and your family circumstances.  An on-line benefit calculator is available to help you find out what benefits you may be entitled to.  If you think that you may be entitled to Housing Benefit you need to make a claim immediately as your rent will normally only be paid from when you make the claim.
