Money Advisor

We can refer you to our independent Money Advice Service which is a free and confidential service that can help you with:

  • Budgeting advice
  • A full benefit check
  • Dealing with people you owe money to

The Money Advisor is able to:

  • Check that you are receiving all the benefits you are entitled to
  • Help you prioritise your debts and prepare a full debt repayment plan if applicable
  • Talk to the people you owe money to, to work out a repayment agreement
  • Help you to draw up a budget.

You can expect the Money Advisor to:

  • Make sure you understand how you can or cannot be assisted
  • Keep your information confidential and only pass it on with your agreement
  • Answer your letters and emails within 7 days
  • Answer your telephone calls promptly.
