Governance
Friendship is governed by our Board of
Management, which currently has nine members drawn from a range of
backgrounds, including Friendship tenants, and offers a wealth of
experience and expertise. The Board elects a Chair and Vice
Chair. Our Managing Director, Jonathan Driffill, is a
co-opted member. This means he was invited to join the Board
because of his experience.
The Board has a number of important
sub-committees. These include:-
- The Performance Improvement and Audit
Committee - which makes sure Friendship is working
effectively.
- The Equalities and Diversity
Committee - which makes sure Friendship meets the
needs of people from different backgrounds, those who speak
different languages or those who may have a physical or mental
disability.
- The Remuneration Committee
- which looks after the pay and conditions of
Friendship’s staff.
Management
We have a Executive Management Team
that is responsible for overseeing day to day operational
management and for setting our strategic direction for discussion
and approval at Board level.
