Mark Askey
Director of Care and Resources

Mark joined Friendship Care and Housing in 1991 from Birmingham City Council, where he worked as a housing and benefits advisor, and had previous experience in contracting and funding regimes of the Social Services Department. He was appointed Head of Performance in April 2005, having worked in the Finance and Performance Review team since 2001. Previously, Mark worked in Care Services, heading the central support team.

In his current role as Director of Resources his portfolio includes company secretarial duties, performance review services and a lead role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
