Kevin Edwards
Director of Operational Finance

Kevin joined the Longhurst Group in July 2010, after a 3 month temporary appointment, and was appointed as a Director as at that date. Kevin also holds the same position for Spire Homes in the Group.

Kevin is a qualified accountant (FCCA) and joined the Group after running his own consultancy business implementing new systems for a large international company and involved in the start up of Bromford Development Ltd, the construction arm of the Bromford Group.

Kevin has held previous roles in large construction companies and house builders and became Finance Director of Fairclough Homes in the Midlands at the age of 34. After 8 years, following the acquisition of Fairclough’s by the Miller Group and the successful amalgamation of the combines entity, Kevin left to follow opportunities as a freelancer.

In his Group role, Kevin is responsible for the Operational Finance functions of Friendship and Spire, as well as being a member of the Group Finance and Treasury Committee and of the Group Financial Services Senior Management Team.
