Rosie Weaver                                               Chair

Rosie is the Chair of Friendship Care and Housing and our nominated representative on the Longhurst Group Board.

She has worked as a social work practitioner and held a range of senior management roles within the public and voluntary sectors.

She has presented at national and international conferences and published on social exclusion, advocacy, locality NHS management and inequalities.

Rosie holds an MA in Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations and is a qualified workplace mediator.

Rosie was a founder member and Chair of a not for profit community business and several charities for people with mental health problems, people with learning disabilities and children with disabilities.

She has chaired Friendship since 2000 and currently also chairs the Equalities and Diversity Committee.

Rosie joined the Board in 1989.
