Deputy Chair

Ernie’s involvement in the community first began in 1989, where as a tenant of Balsall Heath Housing Co-operative, he played an active role as a committee member on the management team for four years.

He runs a small business based in Moseley where he represents the ward as a City Councillor serving on the Public Protection and Procurement committees.

His primary interests revolve around community development, regeneration and the provision of local services.  He holds a B.A in Marketing and Communication Studies where he majored in journalism, TV and Film Production and an M.A in Political Philosophy.

Ernie joined the Board in 2007 and was appointed Deputy Chair in September 2010.
